Lelovani Public School celebrated “Earth Hour 2017”

School students in Georgia joined the celebration of “Earth Hour 2017.” On March 25, for celebrating “Earth Hour,” the eco-club of Adigeni Municipality Village Lelovani Public School, arranged an event. Within the framework of the action, local residents of the village stopped using the electricity during 1 hour. Eco-club members also organized turning off the street lights near the school, during 1 hour.

Lelovani Public school is involved in the international project “SPARE” (School Project for Application of Resources and Energy). The project is financed by “Norges Naturvernforbund/Friends of the Earth Norway.”

 

NGO "EcoVision” thanks the organizers of the action, the members of Lelovani Public School eco-club, the school administration and the teachers.
