On November 11, for celebrating the International Energy Saving Day, the Energy Efficiency Festival was held in Tbilisi, at Rike Park. The festival is organized by NGO “EcoVision,” under the international school project “SPARE.” The partner of the festival is “Inntech” - Innovative Techniques Store. The Energy Efficiency Festival has been held for the second time by NGO “EcoVision.”
Eco-quizzes for school children were held during the festival and its’ winners participated in electric hover board race. The first place winner was awarded with a hover board from “Inntech.” The second place winner was awarded with an external charger for Smart phones and the third place winner – with 50% discount voucher.
Moreover, the energy efficient equipment was exhibited at the festival. The event guests received different environmental books, including the ones about energy saving and energy efficiency topics.
The event aims to raise public awareness on climate change issues and also to teach and introduce the principles of energy saving, energy efficiency and sustainable use of natural resources.
