On November 26, 2015, at Environmental Information and Education Centre, the Memorandum of Cooperation was formed between NGO "EcoVision," the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection and the Ministry of Education and Science.
On November 24, 2015, in the frame of Forest Week, at Tbilisi #198 public school, was arranged trash-art workshop for school students with special educational needs. Up to 15 students participated in the workshop. Children created new-year toys from cones and waste. Handbooks about tree planting, developed under FLEG II program, were given to school students.
On November 23, 2015, in the frame of Forest Week, in Tbilisi, in the yard of Godmother Birth Church at Temka was arranged tree planting action. The event was organized by NGO “EcoVision” and Tbilisi City Hall Ecology and Landscaping Service, in the frame of “European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) East Countries Forest Law Enforcement and Governance (FLEG) II Program.” Georgian Patriarchy Saint King Tamar Boarding School children, students of Tbilisi State University and Ilia State University and also local residents participated in planting activity.
On November 22, 2015, in the frame of Forest Week was held an eco-lesson for school children, in which participated up to 30 students from Tbilisi #16 public school and from Buckswood International School. Eco-Lesson about forests was organized by NGO “EcoVision” in the frame of “European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) East Countries Forest Law Enforcement and Governance (FLEG) II Program.”
On November 21, 2015, Gallery “Universe” hosted the opening ceremony of an Exhibition of Youth Drawings “My Native Forest.” More than 400 best drawings of youth contest were exhibited at the event. There were also held awarding ceremony of the winners.
On 28 October 2015, in Kareli municipality, Kvenatkotsi village public school eco-club members arranged the clean-up action. School students cleared the river Suramula from waste and called the villagers not to pollute fresh water.

On October 13, 2015, Europe House in Tbilisi hosted the closing ceremony of Sweden Environment Days in Georgia. The closing ceremony was organized by the Embassy of Sweden and NGO ‘EcoVision.’ The event was opened by Her Excellency Ms. Martina Quick, Ambassador of Sweden to Georgia and Armenia.
The Embassy of Sweden in Tbilisi in partnership with NGO ECOVISION will arrange the closing ceremony of Sweden Environment Days in Georgia on Tuesday, 13 October at 16.00 at Europe House, 1 Freedom Square, Tbilisi.
On October 3, 2015, in the framework of ‘Sweden Environment Days in Georgia,’ was held clean up action in the adjacent territory of Jvari Monastery in Mtskheta. The action was organized by the Embassy of Sweden and by ‘The Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth – Georgia,’ supported by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection and NGO ‘EcoVision.’
On September 30, 2015, Europe House in Tbilisi hosted the opening of Sweden Environment Days in Georgia, called ‘Facing the Climate.’ NGO ‘EcoVision’ participated in this event and presented environmental verses, stories, comics, desktop games, flyers and posters for kids, as well as toys and accessories made from waste.
On September 26, 2015, NGO ‘Ecovision,’ under the project ‘SPARE’ took part in Iliauni Tbilisi Science Picnic, which was held at Vake Park. A lot of people visited ‘EcoVision’ tent and viewed energy efficient appliances, books, booklets, posters and games about the environment protection.
On September 11, 2015, Goethe Institute Tbilisi hosted an international conference within the framework of the project ‘Unite for a Sustainable Future’ („Vernetzt für Nachhaltigkeit“), in which participated NGO ‘EcoVision.’ During the conference, Executive Director of ‘EcoVision’ Nino Sulkhanishvili made a presentation about 15 years of work experience in the field of environmental education. NGO ‘EcoVision’ works actively with schools, universities and kindergartens for implementing sustainable development principles and raising environmental awareness. The representative of NGO ‘EcoVision’ Ekaterine Shalutashvili presented the projects implemented in Georgia in the field of environmental education.

From August 6-12, 2015, in Tusheti Protected Areas was arranged summer eco-camp ‘EcoVision for 12th graders, organized by NGO ‘EcoVision’ and supported by NGO ‘Citizen.’ Up to 30 school students took part in camp – the winners of: EcoVision TV Show quiz, ‘SPARE’ project competition, NGO ‘Citizen’ Civil Olympics and the Ministry of Culture contest.
